(Phoenix, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (16-9, 8-8 in ACCAC) had its four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday at South Mountain Community College (11-13, 5-9).
The Aztecs fell to the Cougars 91-85 as Pima played their first game on the road since Jan. 22.
The Aztecs led 48-47 at halftime but were outscored 44-37 in the second half.
Sophomore Chrishon Dixon finished with a team-high 26 points while freshman Traivar Jackson posted 23 points. Freshman Pierce Sterling added nine points.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday when they host Mesa Community College. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
