(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s soccer team is returning to the NJCAA Division II Tournament for the first time since 2015 as the brackets were revealed on the NJCAA social media platforms on Tuesday.
The Aztecs will be the No. 4 seed and will play in Pool D. They will play No. 9 Southwestern Illinois College on Monday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The Aztecs close out pool play on Wednesday, Nov. 17 against No. 5 Holmes Community College (Mississippi) at 6:30 p.m. (CT). The winner of pool will advance to the semifinal round.
The Holmes Bulldogs were last year’s national runner-up as they lost to Phoenix College in the finals.
The NJCAA Division II National Tournament will be held at the Stryker Complex in Wichita, Kansas from Nov. 15-20.
