(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team is heading back to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament as the brackets were released on NJCAA Soccer social media platforms on Tuesday.
The Aztecs claimed the No. 2 seed after receiving an at-large bid. The Aztecs are part of Pool B and will play No. 11 Muskegon Community College (Michigan) on Monday, Nov. 15 at 1:30 p.m. (CT). The Aztecs will close out pool play against No. 7 Southeastern Community College (Iowa) on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. (CT). The winner of the pool will advance to the semifinal round.
The Aztecs were upset by the Southeastern Blackhawks in the national semifinal round at last year’s tournament.
The NJCAA Division II National Tournament will be held at the Stryker Complex in Wichita, Kansas from Nov. 15-20.
