(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s basketball player Traivar Jackson established his dominance in the first three games of the regular season and was rewarded for his efforts.
Jackson, a freshman forward/center from Anchorage, AK, was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week on Monday for the week of Nov. 1-7.
Jackson helped the Aztecs go 3-0 to open the regular season. He averaged 17.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, 2.3 steals and 1.7 assists. He shot .636 percent (21-33) from the field and was 80 percent (8 for 10) from the free throw line.
The Aztecs return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday when they host Ottawa University JV at 6:00 p.m.
