(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College volleyball team (7-6, 4-2 in ACCAC) played an ACCAC conference match for the second straight night as they traveled to Glendale Community College (11-2, 4-2) on Wednesday.
The Aztecs fell in straight sets to the No. 19 ranked Gauchos 25-20, 25-8, 25-19.
Sophomore Kaylee Moseley (Marana HS) finished with six kills and two blocks while fellow sophomore Andrea Vigil-German (Ironwood Ridge HS) also had six kills along with one ace.
Sophomore Karla Soto (Nogales HS) posted 12 assists and sophomore Jessica Bright-Schade (Safford HS) closed out the match with seven digs.
The Aztecs will take part in the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Tournament on Saturday where they will play three matches. The Aztecs will begin the day against South Mountain Community College at 10:00 a.m., then will face off against Mesa Community College at 12:15 p.m. Pima will close out the day against host Chandler-Gilbert at 5:30 p.m. All matches will be non-conference.
