(PHOENIX, AZ) The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers have signed quarterback Vincent Testaverde Jr. for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.
QB Vincent Testaverde Jr. (6’1″ 210, University of Albany) joins the Rattlers for his rookie season in the IFL. Testaverde Jr. previously spent time in training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL, as well as the BC Lions in the CFL.
Prior to his professional career, Testaverde Jr. walked on as a true freshman at Texas Tech University, before transferring to Miami, and ultimately Albany. Starting in eight games his senior year for the Great Danes, Testaverde Jr. threw for 1,714 yards and 11 touchdowns, completing 53.4 percent of his passes.
Vincent is the son of the Buccaneers’ 1987 No. 1 overall draft pick Vinny Testaverde, who spent 21 years in the NFL. The Odessa, Florida native attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, where he was the team MVP of the school’s football team during both his junior and senior seasons.
