(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s soccer player Seungeon Kim received recognition from the NJCAA for his play at Yavapai College last Saturday.
Kim, a sophomore midfielder from Seoul, South Korea, was named NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week for the week of April 1-7.
Kim and the Aztecs did all their damage in the first half in their 4-1 win at Yavapai. Kim assisted in the goals by Manuel Quiroz (Sunnyside HS) and Francisco Manzo (Salpointe Catholic HS). He scored a goal himself in the 28th minute to put Pima up 3-1.
The Aztecs will play their first home game of the season on Thursday against GateWay Community College at the West Campus Aztec Soccer Field part of the Chapman Auto Sports Complex.
