(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (2-3) got shut out in its game against No. 3 Phoenix College (4-0) on Thursday at the Aztec Soccer Field.
The Aztecs surrendered two goals in the first half and fell 3-0.
Freshman Angelina Amparano (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished the game with nine saves. Pima had three shots on goal.
The Aztecs are off until next Thursday when they play at Arizona Western College. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
