(Tucson, AZ) Former Pima Community College women’s soccer player Brianna Lewis (Tucson Magnet HS) is heading to the East Coast to continue her collegiate career.
Lewis, a defender, signed her letter of intent to Caldwell University, an NCAA Division II school in Caldwell, NJ. The Cougars play in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
“I picked Caldwell University because I love the East Coast,” Lewis said. “The coach (Nate Guagliardi) and the girls were also a huge influence.”
Lewis was a two-time NJCAA All-Academic student-athlete and a two-time All-ACCAC/NJCAA Region I player for the Aztecs.
“My time at Pima was unforgettable. Coach Kendra (Veliz) and the girls will always be very dear to my heart,” Lewis said.
Lewis will join former Tucson High and Pima teammate Taylor Gutierrez on the Cougars squad.
