Roth signed his letter of intent to the University of the Incarnate Word, an NCAA Division I school in San Antonio, TX. The Cardinals play in the Southland Conference.
“I am eagerly looking forward to my new chapter in Texas where I can’t wait to wear the UIW shirt and represent San Antonio in the best way possible in the highest collegiate league in the United States. Go Cardinals,” Roth said.

“It was so far the most successful chapter in my life and I am tremendously grateful to being a part of an Aztec team that brought the first National Championship Title back home to Pima’s soccer family,” Roth said.
As a sophomore, Roth helped lead the Aztecs back to the NJCAA Division I Tournament. He was named second team United Soccer Coaches All-West Region and second team All-ACCAC/Region I.
