(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (10-6, 4-4 in ACCAC) fell short on the road on Wednesday at South Mountain Community College (7-9, 3-5).
The Aztecs lost 77-73. Pima trailed 41-32 at halftime but cut into the deficit by outscoring South Mountain 25-17 in the first 10 minutes of the second half. The Aztecs trailed 58-57.
The Aztecs outscored the Cougars 41-36 for the second half.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Saturday to face off with Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
