(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College men’s soccer player Itsuki Ishihara earned some recognition for his play at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
Ishihara was one of the 11 players named to the All-Tournament team. He scored one goal and had an assist in Pims’s 4-2 win over Essex County College
The Aztecs fell to national runner-up Eastern Florida College 1-0 in double overtime in their first game.
This is the second straight year that Ishihara earned the NJCAA Division I All-Tournament honor. He was selected with Hugo Kametani after last season’s national title run.
Ishihara finished the season with 14 goals and four assists.
The Aztecs also received the NJCAA Division I Tournament Sportsmanship Award.
The Aztecs finished the season at 15-4-2 overall.
