(Tucson, AZ) \The Pima Community College men’s basketball team (3-3, 1-1 in ACCAC) struggled to find answers on Saturday as the Aztecs fell at Eastern Arizona College (8-1, 1-1).
The No. 14 ranked Aztecs trailed for the entire game as they fell to the Gila Monsters 96-69 in Thatcher.
The Gila Monsters started the game off on a 12-3 run in the first six and a half minutes. The Aztecs trailed 47-26 at halftime. The Aztecs trailed by as much as 39 points at 90-51.
Sophomore Khalil Curtis finished with a team-high of 17 points off the bench for the Aztecs. Sophomore Jordan Robinson (Tucson HS) had 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while freshman Addison Mort (The Gregory School HS) posted 10 points.
The Aztecs will be back at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Tuesday when they host Arizona Western College at 7:30 p.m.
