(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College volleyball team (3-5, 1-1 in ACCAC) played its first road ACCAC conference match of the season on Wednesday at Mesa Community College (6-1, 2-0).
The Aztecs tied the match after a second set victory but fell in four sets to the No. 16 ranked Thunderbirds (25-19, 25-27, 25-21, 25-23).
Sophomore Madi Nash (Sahuaro HS) finished the match with a double-double of 15 kills and 17 digs. Fellow sophomore Emily Robinson (Cienega HS) posted nine kills and four blocks.
Freshman Savanna White (Payson HS) had eight kills and seven blocks while freshman Aydalis Felix (Rincon HS) finished with 16 digs.
The Aztecs will host a non-conference match on Friday against the College of Southern Nevada at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. First serve is at 11:00 a.m.
