(Tucson, AZ) Pima Community College women’s soccer player Valentina Franco (Tucson HS) earned the first ACCAC Player of the Week honors for the Aztecs on Monday.

Franco, a freshman midfielder, scored a goal off a header in Pima’s 5-1 win on Saturday at Glendale Community College. It was her only shot on goal for the game.
The Aztecs went 1-1 last week as they fell to Phoenix College last Thursday.
Franco has played and started in the first six games and has scored two goals so far this season.
The Aztecs will play at Paradise Valley Community College on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
