(Tucson, AZ) The Pima Community College men’s soccer team (3-1-1) were shut out on Thursday at Kino North Stadium.
The No. 2 ranked Aztecs fell to Phoenix College 1-0 suffering their first loss at Kino Sports Complex since Oct. 28, 2017 when they lost to Yavapai College in the Region I, Division I Championship. It was the first regular season loss for the Aztecs at home since Oct. 4, 2016 when they lost to Yavapai.
The Aztecs finished the game with four shots on goal and sophomore goalkeeper Nils Roth had two saves for the game.
Luis Gandara scored the goal for the Bears (4-1) in the 66th minute.
The Aztecs will hit the road for the next five games beginning on Saturday when they play at Glendale Community College. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m.
