(Tucson, AZ)– The Pima Community College women’s tennis team took hold of second place in on Wednesday at the NJCAA Region I Championships.
The Aztecs started the day tied with Eastern Arizona College but was able to jump them in the final standings. The Aztecs finished with 12 points while the Gila Monsters took third with 10 points. Mesa Community College was first with 25 points. All three teams qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Championship. It will be held from May 5-10 in Tyler, TX.
