(Tucson, AZ) On Sunday, January 20th at 3:30, Bill McCulloch will do a video interview with Kiya Dorroh at Chēba Hut at 1840 E. 6th St. This is the second segment in our “Stars of the Future” series.
Kiya is being recruited by Arizona and Stanford among 13 Division I programs, with 11 of the offers coming from Power 5 Conferences. Kiya is in ESPN’s Top 50 in the nation recruits. She’s one of the most sought after girls basketball recruits Tucson has had in recent years.
Stanford was is the “standard” in West Coast Women’s Basketball ?, but Arizona with Coach Adia Barnes is a fast rising program ready to make its mark in the PAC-12.

Kiya will also play in one of the most anticipated games this Monday at McKale in the Martin Luther King Jr. Basketball ? Classic. Her Sabino Sabercats will face off against the Sahuaro Cougars who boast a 19-1 record.
