Tucson, AZ – The Pima Community College softball team earned three spots in the All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference teams released on Tuesday.
Freshman pitcher Paige Adair was named third team All-ACCAC. She pitched 137.2 innings, making 22 starts and 27 total appearances. She earned a 17-5 record with a 2.80 ERA and 170 strikeouts.
Sophomore outfielder Sierra Gentry was selected third team All-ACCAC. She batted .408 with 37 RBIs in 142 at-bats. She led the Aztecs with seven home runs and 33 walks. She also threw 61 innings with a record of 5-7 on the mound.
Freshman utility player Alese Casper was also named third team All-ACCAC. The team’s leadoff hitter led the Aztecs with 190 at-bats, 61 runs scored, 83 hits, 19 doubles and 14 stolen bases. She batted .437 with 30 RBIs and 28 walks. Casper also threw 138.1 innings with a 13-9 record in 24 starts and 29 total appearances.
The Aztecs finished the season at 35-23 overall and 26-22 in ACCAC conference play.
