The Sabino Sabercats continue their summer workouts which includes yoga and lots of running, lifting weights and conditioning.
It seems to be paying big dividends as the Sabercats took the championship by beating Palo Verde in the Summer Sizzler Classic played at Pima College this weekend.
Coach Marty Roth will definitely use this and other offseason summer tournaments to springboard into the fall and coming off a #5 ranking in 3A. Sabino appears to be loaded for the 2018 season and one of the favorites in the 3A South.
