Coach’s Quote: “Yavapai was very good. It’s always good to test ourselves against one of the best teams in the nation,” Pima men’s soccer coach David Cosgrove said. “We had a great response after going down 1-0 early.

“It was fun to finally get out and play a game that matters. We’ve got lots of work to do but fun to start playing again.

“Thanks to the Pima Administration, Athletic Department, Support Staff and Yavapai College for doing such a great job helping soccer return.”

The Aztecs will host their home opener on Thursday as they return to the West Campus Aztec Soccer Field part of the Chapman Auto Sports Complex against GateWay Community College. Game is set for 4:30 p.m.
