Second Year WR Frank Brown signs with Tucson

[Tucson, AZ)  The Tucson Sugar Skulls have signed wide receiver Frank Brown for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.

WR Frank Brown (5’11”, 195, Bethune-Cookman University) joins the Tucson Sugar Skulls for his second season in the IFL, but his first in Tucson. Brown spent the 2019 IFL season as a member of the Green Bay Blizzard, after initially signing with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL out of college. Brown also spent time with the DC Defenders of the XFL during 2020.

The Palm Beach Gardens, Florida native was a starter for four seasons at BCU, recording 117 catches for 1,657 yards and 21 touchdowns over 42 games. As a member of the Wildcats’ special teams unit, Brown added 561 return yards as a punt returner, earning him All-MEAC Second Team honors. In joining the Sugar Skulls, Brown will be reunited with his former teammate of four years from BCU, 2019 first-team All-IFL running back Mike Jones.
