Proactive to become the Sugar Skulls Physical Therapy partner

(Tucson, AZ)  The Tucson Sugar Skulls have announced a one-year partnership agreement with ProActive Physical Therapy that designates it as the Sugar Skulls’ official physical therapy partner.

In 2016, ProActive joined forces with Foothills Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, making the ProActive/Foothills partnership the largest privately held physical therapy practice in Arizona.

As part of ProActive’s partnership with the Sugar Skulls, it will provide the team with physical therapy treatment during the 2021 Indoor Football League season, as well as the offseason.

“The Sugar Skulls are excited to partner with ProActive to meet our teams’ physical therapy needs,” said Sugar Skulls Owner Cathy Guy. “ProActive’s strong dedication to patient care matches the commitment that we’ve made to our players as we provide them with top tier physical care.”

“ProActive Physical Therapy is proud to join the excitement around our new partnership with the Tucson Sugar Skulls,” said Mike Basten, President and CEO. “We are proud to be able to provide the team with our professional sports therapy and recovery treatment and working with the team to further develop both the ProActive and Sugar Skulls brands in our community.”

“We are looking forward to helping create unique experiences for Sugar Skull fans throughout the 2021 Indoor Football season.”

The Sugar Skulls’ 2021 regular season will kick off on Friday, May 21 in Green Bay, with their first home game taking place on Saturday, June 5 against the Iowa Barnstormers. The 2021 season will be the Sugar Skulls’ second season of operation, after 2019 saw them become the first expansion franchise in IFL history to qualify for the postseason.
