Arizona Bowl partners with SeatGeek to bring mobile-first ticketing to game.

Tucson-based event is the first college football bowl game to partner with the ticketing platform

(TUCSON, AZ)  The Arizona Bowl today announced a partnership with ticketing technology provider SeatGeek, that will give fans attending the annual bowl game a much improved ticket buying and gameday experience. Fans attending the game will now be able to easily buy, transfer and scan their tickets using the SeatGeek platform.

When Arizona Bowl tickets go on sale, SeatGeek’s best-in-class user experience will make it simple to purchase tickets, whether on a computer or a mobile device. Once the matchup is set, the two participating schools will be able to easily distribute tickets through SeatGeek’s fan-friendly technology, eliminating the need to ship paper tickets around the country. Fans will also be able to use mobile tickets to stay contactless upon entering the stadium.

The Arizona Bowl is the first college bowl game to partner with SeatGeek, whose ticketing technology is used by clients around the globe, including the Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. SeatGeek’s consumer app is used by millions of fans across the United States, with the ability to buy, transfer and sell tickets in as few as two taps.

The Arizona Bowl has experienced a meteoric rise in the college football landscape, partnering with the Mountain West Conference and Mid American Conference to bring two of the nations top football teams to Tucson. The game donates 100 percent of its net proceeds to charity, giving back more than $4 million over five years.
