Arizona Soccer begins it’s preseason push to get back to the NCAA’s

(Tucson, AZ)  Preseason Soccer Camp began yesterday as Coach Tony Amato and the Wildcats are looking at a deeper run in the NCAA Tournament this season.

The overcast skies helped cool down the temperatures from the near record breaking  heat the day before.

With most the the team returning from the solid season of 2108, the Cats look to have success in both the non-conference and in PAC-12 play.

The one big hole they’ll need to fill is the goalkeeper position with the graduation of Lainey Burdett, who now plays for the Oraland Pride of the NWSL.

Red shirt freshman Kendyll Humphreys and true freshman Hope Hisey will be called upon immediately to fill that position.

The season kicks off August 16th at 6:30 with an exhibition match versus San Diego . Tickets are available for $5 and $8
