Aztecs women’s golf completes second round at NJCAA National Championship

(Tucson, AZ)  The Pima Community College women’s golf team closed out the second round of play at LPGA International on Wednesday.

The Aztecs sit in 18th place out of 19 teams after they shot a team score of 405. The Aztecs have a two-day total of 810 (405-405).

Freshman Katelyn Hutchison (Cienega HS) shot a 98 on the day and has a two-day score of 197 (99-98) as she sits tied for 87th place.

Sophomore Elizabeth Satterfield (Ironwood Ridge HS) improved by 3-strokes as she also shot a 98. She has a two-day score of 199 (101-98).

Freshman Hallie Lawson (Campo Verde HS) closed out her first two rounds with a 201 (96-105) while sophomore Clara Solano (Tucson HS) has shot a 216 (112-104). Sophomore Julienne Gonzalez (Ironwood Ridge HS) is at 225 (109-116).

The Aztecs will close out play in the NJCAA National Championship on Thursday. They will begin to tee off at 7:30 a.m. (ET).
