Rio Rico High School signs three athletes to Letters of Intent.


Last Friday the Rio Rico Hawks sent three outstanding senior athletes into the college ranks as Letters of Intent were signed.
Star Shortstop, Janice Garcia will play for the Pima Aztecs. She also plays club ball for Tucson Aztecs Ruiz.
Tabor College in Kansas nabbed Pitcher Marlee Baxter, who also plays with the Az Cats Trejo Club Team.
Outfielder Clarissa De La Ossa signed with Valley City State University in North Dakota. She also plays with Garcia for the Tucson Aztecs Ruiz.
This trio played their entire careers as Varsity starters for the Hawks Softball Team.
Rio Rico High has qualified for the AIA State Tournament the past three seasons, turning the program around in the right direction.
Attempting to fulfill their expectations for a state championship the three stars go into the season with the determination of leaving a legacy for other players in the future.
